On September 30, Mourão Campos Group brought together experts from different fields for a morning of discussions and insights into the first six months of ECA Digital and the challenges the new legislation presents for companies operating in the digital environment.
We welcomed Irina Bacci, Bárbara Emidio Nascimento, Raquel de Carvalho Madeira and EDIANE DE ASSIS BASTOS. Marco Antônio Junqueira de Arantes, who leads the firm's Legal Representation practice, also shared his firsthand experience supporting companies as they navigate compliance with the new legislation.
Throughout the event, different perspectives helped broaden the discussion, from the protection of children and adolescents to legal obligations, reputational risks, the practical experiences of businesses and the public sector's perspective on these first six months.
The event provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue about the next steps and how to translate ECA Digital requirements into effective practices for protection, governance and compliance.
